Natural Forces
Overnight it has been a sand storm
Hissing dry dust, the fiery dragon.
Spreads sand in every lane and street
Loose elements flee with winds’ fleet
As if to give a resounding welcome
To celestial rain , the scorcher of heat.
With the whirls of strong wind
Trees violently sway and swing
Shed those weak and infirm leaves
To unruly twigs no more can cling.
Nests perched among forked branches
Sway wildly in horrified gypsy dances.
Worried birds in fear of damage chances
Cling to nest straws, the vigil enhances.
But, who can ever resist Natural forces
Even Satan was thrown out by these jaded horses.
Ah ! many innocent birds are distressed and battered
As fallen leaves, their corpses are scattered.
